Holiday Cottage Handbook (HCH) and the Australia & New Zealand Short-Term Rental Association (ASTRA) have formed a strategic partnership to share knowledge and education with hosts and property managers.
ASTRA is the leading body representing the short-term rentals (STR) industry in Australia and New Zealand, which comprises 180,000 properties in Australia and 45,000 in New Zealand. ASTRA’s members represent the interests of residential property owners, operators, managers, agents, and property management and software businesses. ASTRA’s mission is to promote and standardise the STR industry through advocacy, education, and research.
HCH is a multimedia platform which provides free education to STR hosts and property managers through a variety of channels, including its free e-book, newsletter, podcast, and events, such as the upcoming STR Zone, which will be held in London on 4-5 October.
As part of the collaboration, ASTRA will benefit from a permanent presence on the HCH website, plus coverage in the newsletter and across social media. ASTRA, meanwhile, will promote HCH’s educational resources and special events to members.
James Varley, Founder, Holiday Cottage Handbook, said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with ASTRA, which shares our mission to champion the STR industry. This partnership will help to promote our resources to a wider audience of hosts and property managers – helping them to develop successful and sustainable STR businesses.”
Mitchell Price, CEO of the Australia & New Zealand Short-Term Rental Association (ASTRA), commented on the partnership: "We are thrilled to partner with Holiday Cottage Handbook. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to promote and standardise the short-term rentals industry. By combining our resources and expertise, we can provide unparalleled education and support to our members, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in this dynamic sector."
